Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Verity account or using any part of the Verity service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and BloomWave ("we", "us", "our").

2. What Verity is

Verity is a software platform for professional coaches. It provides tools to manage client relationships, schedule and document coaching sessions, and generate AI-assisted session notes. Verity is not a coaching service and does not provide coaching, therapy, or medical advice.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
• You may not share your account or use it on behalf of another person without their consent.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Your client data

You own all data you enter about your clients. By using Verity, you represent that you have obtained any necessary consent from your clients to store their information in a third-party software platform and to process session content using AI tools. You are solely responsible for compliance with applicable professional ethics standards and data protection laws in your jurisdiction.

5. AI features

Verity uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate session notes, coaching questions, and summaries. AI-generated content is a starting point — not a substitute for your professional judgment. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI output before use. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Verity for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any professional obligations.
• Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Verity service without our written consent.
• Use Verity to store sensitive health information regulated by HIPAA or equivalent laws without appropriate safeguards.

7. Payment and subscription

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days; after that, data may be permanently deleted.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Verity is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BloomWave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
